If you are having trouble getting sound to work on one end of a movie talk call, you may need to adjust your Gmail talk device settings.
1. Go to Gmail.com and log in with your Google username and password.
Two. Click on the talk bubble in the lower left corner of the page if you do not see your contact list.
Three. Click on the arrow button next to the "Talk" heading and choose "Talk settings" from the contextual menu that emerges. On older versions of Gmail, click the "Options" button at the bottom of the contact list and choose "Talk settings" from that menu.
Four. Open the "Microphone" menu in the "Voice and movie talk" section and choose the device you want to use for audio input. If you are not sure what microphone to use, select the "Default device" option.
Five. Open the "Speakers" menu and choose the device you want to use for sound output. If you are not sure what speakers to use, select the "Default device" option.
6. Click on the "Verify your settings" link to test the input and output devices you have selected.
7. Click the "Save Switches" button at the bottom of the page when you are sated with the sound settings.
