quest is biased and permits trash talk and hookers and solicitors which is illegal but they block people who just joke around, they are violating laws and FCC regulations. They are not supposed to listen to private messages but they do. They need to be reported. Embarked out as a nice line to meet intelligent people has turned to trash and moderators are power thirsty idiots that are not fair at all, I would not pay for the service, have called for years and recently got blocked because my niece who sounds like me was joking around on my phone and someone reported it, Quest does not believe me and will not unblock me and this is ridiculous but I have heard a lot of trash. Why don't you just get a Google Voice number? It's free and since you are assigned a fresh phone number, you can claim another free trial on every chatline. Its an app you download on your phone and it lets you make and receive calls on virtual line.

I liked this list. I didnt know there where soo many talk lines. Today, chatlines and party lines are one and the same. In the 60s and 70's, when phone service was not as commonplace as it is today, the phone company would install a collective line for a entire building. This type of phone line were called “Party Lines” or “Party Wires”. Anybody who would pick up a handset would be able to listen to his neighbor's conversation. They were frequently used as a source of entertainment and gossip.

Greg. The only other reasons why the chatline might be rejecting your recording is because you are being too explicit or you are providing away individual information. Make sure your welcoming does not include any sexually charged content. Even if your tone of voice sounds too sexy your welcoming might get rejected. Commence with a clean profile and keep the crazy comments (and the yelling) for the live 1-on-1 connections.
If you still think there is a another user who is [unfairly] reporting you, contact the moderator by pressing zero and tell him what is happening. You might even be able to request some free minutes for the inconvenience.

For fairly some time I thought chatlines were a thing of the past. It wasn't until last week that I landed on this site and called all the phone numbers, that I found out chatlines are alive and going strong.

Are their any Chatlines that could charge to cell phone bill in the US?
Unless you call a 1-900 number, you cant be charged to your phone bill. 1-900 numbers are very infrequent nowadays since most major US telecom companies including AT&T and Verizon retired this service some years ago.
With that being said, there might still be a few chatlines that operate through puny, niche telecom companies that still suggest this service, but we are not aware of any. The industry norm nowadays is to charge the caller's credit card is. Note however that once a chatline has your credit card number on file, they can associate it with your account or (even your phone number's caller id) and automatically charge it as you consume services . Read the chatlines' terms and conditions or ask customer support for more info to make sure you don't end up with unexpected charges which can be difficult to dispute.
Always run a basic background check before meeting someone your met in a chatline.

Fortunate for us, chatline companies reset their used free trial databases about once per year. Some reset them every six months, other do it on January 1st. They do this because they know phone numbers are recyclable and as they switch owners fairly often.
Your best bet is to call regularly and see if you are suggested to attempt it free. Alternatively, you can call from a secondary line such as a google voice number or a disposable phone number app.
Also how come Chatlines only suggest to bill to homes home and not cellphone?

How long did you wait? It might take up to a year for your phone number to be eliminated from the chatlines' used free trial database. In any case, you should consider buying a subscription or attempting some of the other chatline free trials posted on this page.
“chatlineguide Mod”…Truly. A “Mod”, for chatlines. Hahaha…absolutely comical! Hey, “Mod”…..YOU should “consider” letting the guys call the lines for FREE, too! It's not fair AT ALL, that these ‘women' (cough…cough) get to have their pick of lines to call 24/7 365, for FREE! Hey BamBam, I certainly feel your agony. I also wish chatlines were free for guys. The reason why chatlines are free for women is that if they'd permitted fellows to call for free, the phone talk lines would be so saturated, they would be unusable. You see, chatlines permit women to call for free for the same reason some night clubs permit chicks in with no cover; it's the hot ladies that attract the [paying] masculines.
You can always attempt to call from a different phone number, or if you own a smartphone you can attempt adding a secondary line to your device.

You see, the chatlines are already “so saturated” with the same bogus/creepy/bizarre/bizarre/strange/obnoxious ‘women', they're already beyond usable. So, providing boys AT LEAST a few chatlines to call for free, would/should not be a problem. Phone chatlines and “night clubs”, are two TOTALLY different entities. C'mon, that's apples and oranges! Not a good analogy at all! I've been calling chatlines, for the better part of thirty-years. To permanently permit these same ‘women', to drape/camp out on the lines EVERY day/EVERY night, is just not fair.
There should undoubtedly be a limit to their calling. And, what about the guys pretending to be women. They deserve to be permanently blocked from the system. You should refund the paying callers EVERY time, one of these creepy ‘he/she's' is on the line. What about the ‘women' soliciting. Constant “pay-to-play” messages. I do think chatline moderators attempt their best to keep the chatlines clean. However, it's unrealistic to expect them to be 100% accurate when there are ems of thousands of fresh callers every day, especially since moderators cannot hear any of the private messages (where solicitations usually occur). That's why chatlines rely on members reports to review and ban callers.

In my practice, success depends on the quality of your welcoming. I meet fresh people on these chatlines consistently. My secret? I spend at least ten minutes to design, write down and record my introduction. I dont make it sexual (as most guys do). Damsels actually end up contacting me, because I dont sound likeevery other weirdo.
You have to step into a woman boots and tell them what they want to hear. You need to communicate positive traits such as high intelligence, social abilities, financial stability and physical superiority. Talk with a deep noisy voice and make your message elaborate and clear and you will see that these chatlines do work.
Carlos, you are totally right. There's a lot of frustration among fellows calling the chatlines only to end up feeling rejected. Like you so succinctly put it, it is effortless to get the women if you just take the time and put in the effort to record a winning introductory welcoming.
As I see it, a chatline saluting is analogous to a dating site profile. The more effort you put into it, the higher your success rate is going to be. If you dating profile has no pictures, no description and it looks all spammy, no one will react to you. In the other arm, if you build a good profile showcasing your best traits, slew of flattering photos and a heartfelt and well written description, people will be intrigued to know more about you.
Chatline greetings are the same. You have to differentiate yourself from the hundreds of other [masculine] callers, especially when you are using a free trial and your messages are placed at the end of the females' message queue. (Chatlines give priority to paying members).
Reminisce, damsels are attracted to winners. Present yourself as a winner (even if
you are not fairly there yet), and people will gravitate toward you. Those guys who seem to get all the damsels make an extra effort to look good. There is nothing wrong with a little self promotion, but some people just have low self esteem and find it hard to do this; blaming the chatlines for their failure when they indeed should be switching their treatment.

Just go to livelinks.com. When you visit the site it geolocates your IP and displays the local access number for your area. You can also inject an telephone area code and the website will provide the local access number closest to that area.
You can also call the toll free number and ask supporrt for the local access number derived for your city.
I don't understand how Livelinks.com suggests a local number. How do they know where I am located? Does my computer have GPS?
No Sally. Your computer does not have GPS. When you visit Livelinks.com, some basic website code detects the IP address of your computer. It then uses a service such as Maxmind to determine your location. IPs address ranges are assigned to different geographies, similar to how phone area codes are assigned to different counties. By looking up some of your IP octets in a IP database, it is possible to determine what state, city and neighborhood you are located in. Based on this information, the Livelinks website shows you a different access number that is local to you. This way, anyone can always access the talk line by placing a local call.

You can use google voice, burner app, hushed app, and even Skype.
It is not ethical to spoof your caller id. Just buy some minutes or get a subscription if you want to proceed using the service. If you dont habe the money to pay for phone talk, you should not be doing it in the very first place, You should be looking for a [better] job.
Have you attempted blocking your caller ID? On Verizon you just dial *67 before dialing the talk line number. If the chatline's IVR system can't see the phone number you are calling from, it wont know it has already used a free trial. I haven't attempted this but its worth a shot.
About two years ago, my company Fusion Cube developed the entire software for a custom-built IVR system meant for a puny dating talk line (which unluckily never spotted the light of day). With that being said, I am 100% certain that blocking your caller ID won't help you get unlimited free trials. I just doesn't make sense.
It is the industry standard that free trials are given per phone number basis. If no phone number is reported to the phone talk system, the software assumes a default value of NULL. The system cannot associate a free trial to a value of NULL and even if it could (due to a bug), it would just award one trial every year or so. If you know a little bit of SQL you will understand that once the free trial is totally consumed, the system will automatically switch a field — lets call it “free trial used” — to TRUE on the database entry for the telephone number NULL in the free trial table. So sorry, no loopholes here.
