SOMA Messenger is an instant messaging app with two standout features: privacy, and high-quality voice and movie calls for free. In every other department, yeah, it’s basically the same as Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp.
Why is SOMA special?
If SOMA Messenger is so similar to both Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp, why should you exchange? Well, SOMA Messenger ensures greater security and privacy than its rivals. The app provides a system of encryption two thousand forty eight bit and two hundred fifty six bit AES; all of which means that it is amazingly difficult for third parties to build up access to your information.
The app includes free voice and movie calls of superior quality to the competition – however to get the most from this you will need a good connection.
Interested in better safety and free quality calls? Then you’re one step away from downloading SOMA. There is a but tho’, and it’s a big but, you will have to coax your friends to download and use it too for it to be any use. And in testing, that proved firmer than you may imagine as people are already bouncing so many messaging apps and don’t want another.

The reticence of users to adopt fresh talk app is a shame because SOMA Messenger is fine, even permitting talks of up to five hundred active users. At least that’s what is claimed… I only had one friend to add to a talk.
While SOMA Messenger’s features make it standout, its interface and controls do not. If you have Facebook or WhatsApp Messenger, SOMA you will be 100% familiar. The structure of the app is a copy/paste of its rivals. Zero innovation. Zero originality.
The eternal drawback of the fresh app
SOMA Messenger needs an install base before it can indeed take off. But, that shouldn’t stop you downloading it and attempting to coax your friends to use it, because it is has excellent features and benefits.
